Importance of Griha Pravesh Puja

It is commonly believed that when you believe in Gods, you got to recognize the existence of ghosts and spirits. All these things have a purifying effect on the air water and environment of the house.

According to ancient scriptures failing to perform a Griha Pravesh Puja, before entering a new house or not abiding by the customs can bring in severe bad luck for the family. Once the puja is completed the family should reside there for a min of 3 days and keep the house well lit to ensure that no evil vibration is able to enter the house.
