Vastu tip to be followed for building the Bedroom
- As per Vastu, the bedroom should not be built in the South-East direction. South, South-West, West or North-West could be preferred for building the bed room. If that is not possible and you should not place your bed in the Southeast direction, keep the bed in some other corner. Try sleeping in the room built in the Southeast direction with your feet in the North direction and head in South.
- Vastu advocates the idea of not putting mirrors inside the bedroom as doing so can lead to negative vibrations in the surrounding. These negative vibrations lead to quarrels, stress and misunderstandings between the couples.
- The bedroom according to the Vastu should be decorated with beautiful pictures and wall hangings so that to bring more and more positivity in the room. It will be the first thing that you will see for the first thing after getting up.
- According to Vastu, the correct placement of everything in the bedroom is very important as that creates a soothing and peaceful ambience around. Since, there are a lot of heavy items in the bedroom it should be arranged properly. Vastu suggests keeping these heavy items in the bedroom in West, South or South-West directions. Avoid placing the bed in middle of the room.
- Try sleeping in the East or South direction of the bedroom! While sleeping with head in the South direction facilitates great and deep sleep sleeping with head in the South direction ensures summoning enlightenment. Make sure that there isn't any window in your back while you are sleeping.
About the Directions
East:
Deities, Indra and Surya govern this direction and it is ideal to build space for unmarried members of the family.
West:
Lord Varuna is dominant in this direction and so it is an ideal place for the students in the family.
North:
Vastu teaches that Lord "Kuber" resides in this direction and so is the most apt place to keep important documents, Jewellery, cash and any other material things. Also, it also best for couples!!
North East:
Lord "Shiva" is believed to govern this direction. And, we must not put beds in this direction as this direction is considerd as a place of worship.
South East:
Lord Agni governs this direction and so one should avoid building the bedroom in this direction. Doing so can lead to lot of trouble in the family and increase in expenditure. And, also, if children rooms are built in direction, they will not take interest in studies and will also not get proper sleep.
North West:
Lord Vayu sits in direction and so it is recommended to allot the room in built in this direction to the newly wedded couples.
