Vastu principles are so powerful that if they are applied with care and precision then there can be unimaginably great increase in production and other related tasks of the industry like sales, smooth working of labors and much more. Na matter what kind of industry you are dealing with the principles of Vastu are same and one should take special care of Vastu during the construction of the building. In addition to that, care should be taken during installation of the machinery, during manufacturing the products and them transporting it to the clients' location.

Although, every industry has different way of production yet some common principles of Vastu are applied to every industry. In every type of Vastu, the analysis of the construction of the building is very important and that goes same with the application of Vastu for industries. In all types of industries, it is the human potential that is extracted to the highest level involving a number of activities including production, research, movement of goods and many other related activities. To balance these numerous human activities it is important to understand the proper and overall contribution of various effects of directions.

• Direction of the beams
• Shape, size and height of the building
• Basement's location
• Direction of the main gate

Here are some of the principles of Vastu that should be followed strictly while establishing different types of industries.

• The spaces which are more open should be built in the North or the East side rather than in the South or the West side.
• Floor's slope should be built in the direction of North, East or the Northeast direction but should never be built towards West or the South direction.
• All the thicker walls should be built such that they are in the West or the South direction and the thinner walls should be built in the Eastern or the Northern side of the building.
• The direction of the staircase should be in the Southwest direction.
• The direction of the underground water tank should be in the Northeast direction.
• Toilets must be built in the Western or the Northwest direction but it should never be constructed in the Southwest or the Northeast direction.
• The placement of the administrative block or other offices should be in the Eastern or the Northern part of the building.
• The placement of the outhouse or the staff quarters should be in the Northwest part of the building.
• The basement should be constructed such that they are in the North, East or the Northeast part of the building.
• The placement of heavy machineries should be in the direction of South, West or the Southwest.
• One should not place anything too heavy in the center or the Northeast side of the building.
• Part of the industry including the boiler, generator, burner, transformer and ovens should be placed in the Southeast corner.
• There should not be any garbage in the North, East or the Northeast corner of the building. These corners should always be kept neat and clean for a perfect summoning the most positive energy.
• The beam of light should be so directed that it never falls on the workers or the machineries put to work in the factory.
• The Northeast corner of the building is most suitable for storing the finished goods from the factory.

Puja room of the building should be built in the Northeast corner of the building. One should take care to keep this corner of the building neat and clean.
