• The best direction that must be chosen for building the master bedroom in your home should be the Southwest direction as that helps in maintain peacefulness and love in the relationship.
• Having bedroom in the Southeast direction of the house is responsible for bringing in bad luck and hindrance in the intimate relationship of the couples. It is believed that the fire and the heat energy in this part of the home give rise to restlessness and tension. According to researches, most of the couples whose relationship ended into divorce because they have arrangement for sleeping in the Southeast direction of the building.
• For a newly wedded couple it is not advisable to keep their bedroom in the Northeast part of the home. As per Vastu sleeping in this direction can result into childlessness for the newlywed couple.
• As per Vastu it is not advisable always to use a metal bed even though they are in fashion these days, wooden beds are considered more auspicious for married couples.
• If you want to get most out of your marriage the bed must be placed in the Southwest corner.
• Placing bed in the Eastern or the Northern corner of the bedroom may result into financial instability and various types of mental stress.
• One should take care of the fact that the bed has not been placed in front of the door or in front of any of the doors of the house including attached balcony or toilet.

• It is important to pay heed to the direction in which the kitchen in the home has been built as the happiness and peace in the home largely depends on house food is prepared in home. The most suitable direction to build kitchen are southeast or northwest.
• Building kitchen in the Northeast direction results into enmity between the members of the family particularly between husband and wife.
• While building kitchen in the Southwest direction of the home creates unwanted expenses and also causes bad effects in regards to the health of ladies of the family.
• According to Vastu one should make sure that the stove and sink are kept at a distance away from each other. While the gas stove is the representation of the Agni element, sink represents the water element and it is quite important to take care of these important elements in order to avoid any kind of unwanted things happening in the family.
