• Make sure that there isn't any beam or a ray of light directed toward the ceiling of your home because that is one reason because of which a lot of negative energy accumulates resulting into stress and anxiousness.
• Vaastu advocates the use of only the light colours for the walls of living room may be a light green or white. These colours are believed to bring in peace and harmony and the sense of togetherness among the people who sit there. You can use dark colours on the Eastern wall.
• It is advisable to make use of only light curtains on the walls in the Northeast corner while on Southwest you must use heavy curtains.
• There need to be some spare space in the Northeast corner` and that should not have any clutter lying in that part of your living room. You can put some relay good plant to add on to the positive energy of the room.
• Southeast which is also called as the corner for fire must have the appliances like air conditioner and Television.
• You can add a great amount of positive energy in your living room by placing some beautiful sceneries or any other attractive painting. But we must not put any negative pictures like that of a wild animal or horror.
• Vastu declares artificial flowers as inauspicious and it should not be there in your living room. Also, dried flowers are considered as not so auspicious as they are believed to represent the autumn season.
